Who you know
The Jetlag Philosophy
Jetlag began its life in Tokyo in the late 80's where inebriation was sated in Gas Panic, Deja Vu, Mistral, Java Jive, Buzz, Drugstore, Henry Africa's and the eponymous Maggie's Revenge. These drinking establishments delivered great nights to a rapacious expat crowd and Japanese fashionistas, all of whom have contributed to the Jetlag ethos of an open mind and enjoying life.
Since the name was inspired at the bottom of a glass on a Roppongi summer evening, we have travelled the world seeking a Jetlag base. International in aspiration, beaches and cities on all continents were experienced. In the end the lure of London proved irresistible.
London has a nightlife that sets the standard for the rest of the world. Its drinking culture is about knowing where to go and when to go there. In this spirit, hitting the bar on arrival is the one constant in our travels. Whether a lifelong resident, weekend tourist or seasoned traveller, if you're like us, the first port of call is the bar. This is where the journey begins.
Like all locals we are full of information. Some of our knowledge will be included in our links, but if you don't see something you need, ask a member of staff or a fellow guest.
